Project Description
Weave a sparkling tree ornament using brick stitch and either fire polish beads or Delicas, with this free beading pattern by Jill Wiseman. The pattern offers versatility; you can choose whether to make your tree bold and sparkling with 3mm fire polish beads, create a daintier tree with size 11/0 Delicas or go large with 10/0 or 8/0 Delicas. Jill walks you step by step through the ladder stitch start and creating brick stitch increases to help you weave the tree with ease!
Materials Needed
- 3mm fire polish in tree background color – 408 (+1-3 for top hanger if desired in this color)
- If using Size 8 Delicas – 13 grams
- If using Size 10 Delicas – 4.5 grams
- If using Size 11 Delicas – 2.5 grams
- 3mm fire polish in ornament colors – 81 (+1-3 for top hanger if desired in this color)
- If using Size 8 Delicas – 3 grams
- If using Size 10 Delicas – 1 gram
- If using Size 11 Delicas – less than 1 gram
- Fireline (6lb)
- Size 10 beading needles
- Ornament hanger
