Clasp Options for Flat Bracelet Kits

We’ve been carrying bead packs/kits for some of Sue Arrighi’s flat bracelet patterns for several years now, and we’re launching 8 new ones this week! There are two questions I get the most regarding the kits:

  1. Where do I buy the pattern? Well, this info is in the product description on the website, and also on the kit covers, but you purchase the pattern from Sue directly in her Etsy store at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SusanArrighiDesigns
  2. Why isn’t there a clasp included? What clasp should I use?
We don’t include one because you have SO many options and everyone has their own preferences! Let me run down some of the options for you!

Create a peyote tube toggle clasp. This is a classic favorite of mine because you already have the beads, and it’s perfect for anyone with a metal allergy. I have a YouTube video on how to make this toggle right here: Learn to Make a Peyote Tube Toggle

Use slide-on end clasp tubes as shown in this photo (or you can also taper the ends of a wide cuff down and use the Elegant Elements BeadSlide clasps.) You can find the ends in sizes from 10mm-40mm here: Tube Ends
You can find a video on how to use these ends with peyote stitch here: How to Use BeadSlide Clasps

You can taper the ends of wider bracelets (video coming soon on this!) and use a button for a clasp.

You can stitch on any of the Cymbals end components that are used for Size 11 Seed Beads or Size 11 Delicas.

You could stitch on vertical loop clasps.

And many more!! I’ll keep adding to this blog post as I document more options!

I’m afraid I don’t know what you’re talking about. Also, the jewelry itself is not for sale.
