I can’t help it!! I LOVE BEADS! I love their colors and shapes and the feel of them and, *sob*, when it’s time to discontinue some of them, I have to admit I play favorites!!!
It’s been far too long since I’ve taken a look at our sales statistics and weeded out the slow sellers across the store. Trends come and go. Bead shapes I couldn’t keep in stock a year or two ago now barely sell at all. But meanwhile, the new hot beads need the color options increased. So the way to fund that is to discontinue slow sellers and use the income to add new colors to the “bead of the month.” Ideally I should be doing this at least 1-2 times a year. In reality, I think it’s been 4 years since I last did a purge.
So the last few days I’ve been doing just that. But I must tell the truth. Sometimes, I think y’all are crazy for not buying a gorgeous color and I KEEP IT! Even though the sales numbers tell me everyone has been ignoring it, I simply can’t bring myself to let it go. Maybe when customers have fewer choices to look through, they’ll stop to see how gorgeous it is.
Polychrome Indigo Orchid Crescent beads – I’m looking at YOU!Seriously – do you see how pretty they are?? Deep blue with a flash of purple. Blurple! My favorite color! So while the facts say they should go, my heart says they stay. And someday, when you’re shopping for Crescent beads, you’ll thank me! If they speak to your soul too, you can find them here: https://shop.jillwisemandesigns.com/crescent-beads-polychrome-indigo-orchid-10-gr/
Jill, I love the Crescent Beads but have found that the color is coming off. I bought Metallic Blue (ordered 3/22), and already the color on my bracelet has gone from the top of the beads. Have you heard of this happening? Is there a product I can buy to protect the finish?
