How much is shipping? Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship first class mail internationally. Our rates are:

  • United States – $3.95
  • Australia – $12.00
  • Canada – $4.95
  • United Kingdom – $6.00
  • Anywhere else – $10.00

We cannot ship to South Africa.

Please be aware that orders sent outside the U.S. may incur customs, tariff, and/or postal charges. Any such charges are the responsibility of the buyer, so please check on the regulations in your country before you buy. If an order is refused, a refund for the merchandise, minus the shipping charge, will be issued when the merchandise is returned to our office. A personalized book cannot be refunded.

How do I apply my store credit to my order?

First, of course, you need to sign into your account. When you go to check out, if you are using PayPal, do NOT click on the PayPal button at the bottom. Instead, click on “Proceed to Checkout” at the top. This will take you to a screen that will automatically apply your store credit, and ask you how you want to pay for the rest of the order, if your credit doesn’t cover it.  From here, you can now pay with PayPal.

What is your return policy?

If you receive an order with an error.
Please contact us right away. We will fix the issue as soon as possible with no additional cost to you.

If you’ve changed your mind, or don’t like/need item(s) you ordered.|
Items can be returned within 60 days of your order if they undamaged and in the original  packaging. Items that cannot be returned include:

  • autographed items
  • patterns
  • garage sale items
  • items that we noted as discontinued at the time of purchase
  • special order items
  1. We will not credit you for items that arrive damaged.
  2. If the entire order is returned or if your returned order incurred additional or unusual shipping costs, at our discretion, we may deduct our cost for shipping the order to you from your refund.
  3. We do not refund the return shipping fee unless there was a mistake on our part. (Please do not send a return item until you have contacted us.) Additionally, a fee may be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of pulling your order and shipping packaging.
  4. Please include a note in your package with your name and contact information. Also let us know if you want a refund to the original method of payment, or a store credit.

What kind of seed beads do you use?

We use 95% Japanese seed beads from the three major suppliers – Miyuki, Toho, and Matsuno.

Do you put the color numbers in your instructions?

We don’t, but if you email and ask us for them, we’ll be happy to provide them for you. We also offer kit refills, so if you want to make another kit project in exactly those beads, we’ll sell you just the beads. It can be a cost-effective way to go.

I’m new to seed bead weaving – do you have kits for me too?

Yes! We love to get the newer folks hooked on beadweaving! We are known for writing very thorough and easy-to-follow instructions. Look for the kits that are designated with a Beginner skill level.

Do you have a store?

No. We work out of an office, but it is not open to the public.

What kind of dog is Winston?

He’s a Shih Tzu. He likes to think all you bead ladies are in love with him.

What kind of dog is Poppy?

She’s a mystery – even to our groomer and vet. She appears to have some poodle in her. She’s a loveable goofball, but she’s also an attention monster! And she’s also the most vocal dog we’ve ever had.
